Etiquette according to Lizzie Post and Tinsley Mortimer

In the same edition of Harper’s Bazaar that I wrote about earlier, I noticed an article called ‘Jersey Shore Charm School’ in which Lizzie Post, Emily Post’s progeny and socialite Tinsley Mortimer, whose reality show is aptly named ‘High Society’ staged a makeover and etiquette intervention for the costars on MTV’s reality show ‘Jersey Shore’.

While I must admit, I have never seen this program before - I did find the article a bit of fun.

Tinsley gave some great advice - that “Etiquette is about making people feel comfortable” and to always:

- Write a thank you note
- Say please and thank you
- Be on time

While Lizzie had the task of working on table manners and deportment.

In order to find out how these costars fare, I suggest getting a copy of this magazine, curling up on the sofa and reading the remainder of this article for yourself!
