Last month a memorial service was held for Lee McQueen and I am hopeful that he would have approved.
St Paul’s Cathedral looked magnificently restrained, no pomp and ceremony, just a simple semi-circle of bagpipers around the front entrance.

Mourners of course wore McQueen, in a dazzling display of his work:

Hamish Bowles and Anna Wintour, who gave the address

Daphne Guiness

Sarah Jessica Parker

Naomi Campbell
Tributes flowed for the great, if troubled designer whose designs I would describe as a magical combination of the outlandish or ‘too much’ and the refined.
The world shall miss his genius.
