I came across the most gorgeous idea the other night …. A postcard garden!
A superb idea for anyone who lives in an apartment or doesn’t want the bother of managing a full sized garden.
The ‘PostCarden’ only needs water, a bit of glue and / or sticky tape and some love …… And you’re off!
For those wanting a bit more detail - this is what was advised:
Escape to your allotment without ever leaving your desk and harvest your own crop in a matter of weeks (no wellies required!) or raise your own specimen of ‘Lepidium sativum’ under the ornate arches of your very own Victorian botanical garden.
PostCarden will enliven any home or workplace and is enjoyable for all ages all year round . Simply open and shape into an allotment or grand planthouse, place on a tabletop or windowsill and add water. In a matter of days your card will start to grow and will keep for 2 - 3 weeks. A little glue or tape is required but is not essential.
How fabulous!
