One dress or two?

Monday, March 4th, 2013 by mfn

Over the past few years, for important events such as weddings or award shows, it would appear that it has become the norm for women to have one dress for the initial ‘event’ and one for the ‘after party’.

This poses the question …….. How would you decide which dress to wear to each event? The more over the top, fairy tale dress to the event itself ? And the sleeker, more practical, yet still elegant dress for the second event perhaps?

And, do you have to use the same designer for both dresses? If not - is it better to be the designer of the first or the second dress?

And ….. what if you’re having so much fun in your first dress, that you don’t want to change into your second dress?

Gracious - so many questions! What do you think? Do you like seeing two dresses - or is it a bit over the top?

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford. Simple, yet elegant. Her make up is understated simplicity, as is her hair. The only thing I would add ……. I think a pair of diamond stud earrings would have been stunning.
